Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards 2014.

Happy Sunday beauties,

How are we all doing?? I have got some not so friendly news, reports coming from our weather forecast department in Nigeria say that we are most likely to experience heavy drought this year, I am almost baked and then I hear this kind of news. If you must go out I beg of you protect yourself, wear SPF, use an umbrella, wear a hat, just do anything.

On a lighter note, the much anticipated 2014 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards held at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. I was totally glued to the Television set as I watched with so much relish; I must admit, the organizing team did a great job.

I am going to hold by not talking about the different accents from some of the people that climbed the stage neither will I talk about the acceptance speeches, I will rather focus on my turf and area of specialization which is makeup.

I played the Role of Makeup Police throughout as I noticed some hits and misses ,for example, the highlighting and contouring were mostly wrong and some of the lashes – oh my word Denrele was the Drama King with his lashes OMG!!!!!!!!, well aside these flops here and there everyone looked beautiful.

Some of the celebrity makeup I love and I noticed was Joke Jacob who I must say is aging gracefully , others are Rita dominic, Agbani Darego,Abiola Alabi ,Jackie Apiah , Kate Henshaw, Funke Akindele ,Susan Peters.Osas

My personal best dressed were Rita Dominic and Uti Nwachukwu ,they completely stole the show. Kudos to all the makeup artists that worked tirelessly to make sure our celebrities look beautiful.
