Chi Chi Cosmetics

Hey, beauties, I found a makeup brand that resonates with me, it’s an Australian brand called Chi Chi Cosmetics that stole my heart. My first encounter with this Aussie gem was at Myer.

I was immediately drawn to the vibrant colors and, of course, the name Chi Chi. As a Nigerian, “Chi Chi” felt familiar it’s a cherished name among the Igbo people, symbolizing God (Chi). Naturally, I assumed it had Nigerian roots. A quick Google search, however, revealed its true origin: Australia.

Despite the surprise, I couldn’t help but fall in love with their creativity, diversity, and quality.

A Brand Inspired by Australia

Chi Chi Cosmetics was founded in 1997 by two visionaries: George Lambropoulos, a pharmacist with a keen eye for beauty, and Frank Nassiokas, a creative force. Their inspiration? The colorful landscapes of Australia. Think cosmopolitan Melbourne, the earthy tones of the Outback, the serene blues of Sydney Harbour, and the tropical hues of the Great Barrier Reef.

It’s no wonder their product line is as vibrant as the country itself

The eyeshadow palette is Vegan and cruelty-free.

What They Offer

Chi Chi Cosmetics covers almost everything beauty enthusiasts crave. Here’s a glimpse of their product range:

  • Eyes: Eyebrow products, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, lashes, and primers.
  • Face: Foundation, BB/CC creams, primers, blush, bronzer, highlighters, and concealers.
  • Lips: Lipsticks, liquid lipsticks, lip liners, glosses, and lip sets.
  • Nails: A variety of nail polishes.
  • Fragrance: Perfumes, body care items, and luxurious bath & body gift sets.
  • Tools: Brushes, blenders, accessories, and palettes.

They even cater to those prioritizing conscious beauty with a wide range of vegan and cruelty-free products!

What’s Next for Me

I’m eyeing their nail polishes, eyeshadows, and fragrances for my next beauty haul. If their testers are anything to go by, these products promise to deliver both quality and vibrancy. I love Australian brands for instance this Grants Toothpaste.
