Hello everyone,
I hope the rain didn’t disrupt your activities for the day.I am elated it rained, i was almost burning up with the hot weather and was beginning to think the end of the world had finally come.
The week started on a great note as I attended the Maybelline Masterclass for Makeup Artist at the Raddison Blu Victoria Isalnd yesterday and i had a wonderful learning experience. Bukola Balogun the Brand manager Maybelline Nigeria gave us a brief history of the brand and how it has grown globally over the years.
Bimpe Onokoya the Creative Director talked about the products available , explaining the benefits and showing us live demonstration on how to use each product.Guess who was the model?? , oh yeah you guessed right – it was yours sincerely. I just couldn’t pass on such a great privilege to get my face beat by One of Nigeria’s finest Makeup Artist.
Some of the topics we brushed on were:
How to to contour and highlight properly
Eye brow stenciling
The various kinds of smokey eyes using Colossal kajal liner.
Finally, she encouraged us by giving us a slogan to abide by with makeup application which is ‘less is more’ and also to master our craft and avoid copying other people’s work and develop our personal style.
Then it was time for Lunch another favourite part of the event and it was my all time food service special – a Buffet.
Ok, i need to let you enjoy the pictures below , ta- ta .
If you missed out i hope this helped abit,if you were at the event please share your overall feel about the event in the comment box.,
Till my next post
