How did you start your journey into makeup? It was almost natural, having nursed so much love for red lipstick from age Antalya escort 5. I remember always watching my mum with so much admiration as she will slam her makeup on to work and party. She calls is “BANTALE MAKEUP” (Makeup that lasts till night time) and I remember my dad teasing her on several occasions that when it comes to makeup, she is never broke. She had them all. She had a jewelry box and a makeup box separately even though she was not commercial about it.
Who inspired you/your role model? Every successful woman out there inspires me. Beautiful women who have both beauty and brains. In the makeup industry both home and abroad every artistic person with consistency inspires me.
If you were not a Makeup Artist, what would you have done? Most likely I would be running a creche Because I keep encouraging my sister to run one or be a caterer because my love for cooking is extra-ordinary , when I cook at events : Christmas parties, my birthday, when i cook everyone is asking for more and am there saying I haven’t even tasted it. Usually when I cook, I loose appetite. A few friends are still on my case, encouraging me to give cooking services a shot. For me, I guess it is more about building relationships.
What makes your business standout/different? Most of my customers are my friends, I mean after meeting them on the job. We become family friend because i love to build relationship, I try to give my best at all times. They say no one is perfect, I say I can be perfect.
5 random things about yourself ? I am a great sleeper. I Sleep a lot. But its so ironical how when I have work to do(especially brides) I loose my sleep completely till I am done. I don’t eat as much as my physical looks/genes. I listen more than I read. I give all my bridal clients a wedding gift.
5 years from now? I see G.R.O.W.T.H by Gods grace.
Advice for upcoming M.U.A ? Advice to upcoming M.U.A , DON’T JUST BE A M.U.A, be smart, business minded, successful, passionate, creative, educated M.U.A. Do not think small, think big!!!
Who inspires you globally ? Oprah Winfrey. She is such a big success.
