Welcome to Misykona, your destination for all things beauty. I’m Oluwayemisi Dada Seriki, but feel free to call me Misy. I’m a freelance Content writer based in Australia. I grew up in the vibrant city of Lagos, Nigeria, where my love for beauty, makeup, skincare and the creative lifestyle began. Misykona is my little corner of the internet where I share on makeup tips, the hottest beauty trends, skincare routines, product reviews, tutorials and insights into the ever-evolving beauty business.
Growing up in a lively and culturally rich environment, I was totally captivated by how beauty can transform people, I studied Economics, as my first degree and went on to learn Entrepreneurship at Lagos Business School in 2010. But it didn’t stop there, I turned my love for beauty into a career by starting Nsure Beauty studio in 2010( Makeup studio) and Beauty Essentials by Nsure 2016 ( beauty brand )
MisyKona started as a personal journey and has grown into a space for anyone who wants to explore beauty, from makeup artistry, skincare to the business strategies behind beauty brands. Originally from Nigeria, now living in Australia.
With a Certificate from the Inside LVMH Course, I gained deep knowledge of luxury brand management and beauty business strategy. Coupled with Master’s in Business Management in United Kingdom, 2021 and Media & Strategic Communication in Australia,2024.
I love to spend time with family or traveling the world for inspiration. Meeting new people and exploring different cultures and connect.
For one on one consultation, expert advice on insights into beauty trends, or how on starting your own beauty business, send me email.
