Hey beauties,

I am having a “throwback” post to my makeup adventure at Port Harcourt . Let me quickly report “progress” 🙂

Saturday 11th of March, I went as Beauty Essentials by Nsure (B.E.N) and exhibited at Port Harcourt the Makeup fair event , I meet and connected with beautiful people. Thanks for all the hugs and kisses.

Sunday 12th , I was MC and Host for the 2nd edition of Makeup Talent show organized by OGEE 30. The aim of the competition is to empower young Nigerians , which took place at Hago Height Plot 29, Dr. Peter Odili Road, Rumuepirikom, Port Harcourt, Rivers, Nigeria.

The Makeup Talent show had over 48 makeup artist participating from all over Nigeria .Thanks to all the Nigerian beauty brands who sponsored and supported.

Judges were Lola Maja, Joan of Jojos touch, Kristabel of Kristabel makeovers and Abisola of MakeupbyAshabee.

The contestant were judged based on Speed, Professionalism, Creativity and Clean execution of makeup look assigned.

The winners got the following prize

WINNER’S PRIZE: N100K Cash, D3200 DSLR Nikon Camera, LED Ring Light, Makeup Trolley (Box) with Drawers, 70k Voucher of Makeup products, 1 week photography master class & internship with celebrity Makeup Artist

1ST RUNNER UP : N100K Cash, Makeup Trolley (Box) with Drawers, 70k Voucher of Makeup products, Lunch at Echelon Heights Hotel & internship with a celebrity Makeup artist

2ND RUNNER UP : N50K Cash, Makeup Trolley (Box) with Drawers & 70k Voucher of Makeup products

I was impressed with how enthusiastic and creative each participant was but disappointed by their lack of product knowledge and general overview of the makeup industry.

God bless you Dorothy , I pray that the next event will be bigger and better .
