I will be honest, I had saw this silisponge online and the hype got me ordering mine. I was so curious to find out if it truly was worth it or just another silly innovation. The inner material is made from silicone and the outer shell is thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU)—a flexible plastic that’s resistant to oil and grease. The idea is to minimize product wastage during foundation application.
WHAT I THINK
Foe best result,apply foundation directly to the face first and the tap to build coverage.
It works better with cream foundation than Liquid foundation.
You will still need to finish up with a beauty blender or a stippling brush to get a flawless finish.
It is not a sponge but a small pad made of silicon, designed to allows minimal product to be wasted.
Hygienic and easy to clean, just wipe and spray a sanitizer
It is low cost, I got mine for less than N2,000 ,reusable with a life span of 3 years
Its takes a longer period to apply and initially feels awkward but with constant practice you will get use to it.
