I’m thrilled to share that we recently celebrated my amazing friend and sister, Omolola, turned the fabulous 40! We indulged in a luxurious getaway to Dubai, exploring some of the city’s most incredible spots.
Dubai never fails to amaze me. Each visit feels like a brand new adventure, with its ever-evolving landscape of exotic destinations and cutting-edge technology. From jaw-dropping new attractions to the latest in tech marvels, there’s always something fresh and exciting to discover.

We were 11 people on this trip and all we wanted was to have fun (which we did) I will share some of the best places to go (with pictures) We were lodged at Delta Hotels Jumeirah Beach, Dubai. The view was amazing and the hospitality was second to none.

First, before you step out , use sunscreen to prevent you from having Sunburn because Dubai is a Desert>

First, we went on a Yacht Cruise to Dubai Marina. We were able to see how the water transport system works in Dubai and get another beautiful view of the city(with loads of fresh air)

The second place we went to was where we had Omolola 40th Dinner party at Saffron restaurant, Atlantis the Palm Dubai. Its a foodie heaven, Its a buffet-style setting with different dishes from the different continent with loads of drinks, dessert etc, in short, we were spoilt for choice.
The third-place we went to was Yas Waterworld. It was more adventurous and we played in the water and had some scary rides. Note: you must go with your Sunscreen otherwise you can get a sunburn.
On the fourth day, we were out for Desert Safari ride and dinner. I almost lost my voice screaming due to the crazy driving. We were entertained by the belly dancer and fire boy with sumptuous buffet dinner.
The fifth place is the Dubai Spice and Gold Souk, its located in Deira and it’s your perfect place to shop for spices, perfume oil, incense, oud, and gold jewelry. It was on our way to exploring the beautiful city of Dubai, The museum, the town, etc.
Finally, The best place to visit in Dubai for all your shopping … The Dubai Mall . It is breathtaking and a beautiful place and has a lot of major fashion brands, food court, an Aquarium, water world and you will be fully spoilt for choice.
I quickly made my way to Sephora and shopped for some products. The best place to find makeup and beauty related products.
