I am so happy I got my hands on Blot Beauty Cosmetics newly launched Sublime coverage foundation and flawless matte powder. A Nigerian owned makeup brand doing amazing in that space. My first impression when I got them was excitement !!! I loved the packaging, design and couldn’t wait to try out the content and give you my thoughts. Blot Beauty Cosmetics brand already also have some beautiful products such as gel liner, beauty blenders, mascara, primers, liquid lipsticks, and eye shadows . The Blot Beauty Cosmetics sublime coverage foundation comes in 6 different shades Chiffon , Sandstone, Golden, Jasper, Toast, Russet it retails N8000 $22.
The 6 different Blot Beauty Cosmetics flawless matte powder shades are Sweet pecan, Sweet Cocoa, Cool Cone, Chestnut,Nutmeg and Kola The powder retails for N6500 $17
The sublime coverage foundation looked a little dark on my skin at first but I realized I used too much, a little goes a long way. Best to apply with a stippling brush and finish off with a beauty blender. A face primer and oil control primer is necessary for a longer wear especially if you have oily skin.
The foundation gives a medium to full coverage as it is very buildable and you can set with a setting mist. I had my makeup on for over 12 hours without touch up and it still looked decent even though I have a combination skin.
My shade in the flawless Matte foundation is “Russet ” and I combined it with the flawless matte powder in ‘Kola”. I had to use light strokes because it looked a little red if applied too much. I realized that for a better result its best to apply with a powder brush and patted down with a puff. It has a great coverage and its buildable. It comes in compartments (mirror and a powder puff) which I think is neat .
The shades for the flawless matte powder and sublime coverage foundation with definitely increase to accommodate more shades over time. .
